  2. Ability to manage leads, close opportunities, generate sales quotations and get accurate forecasts
  3. Schedule activities based on your sales scripts
  4. Sell on the road, the system should mobile-friendly or should have an application from the software vendor
  5. Ability to visualize your sales teams KPI’s at a glance.

You can install your Odoo CRM application from the applications module.

Odoo CRM

When you start off with your Odoo CRM module, you will come across a few terms frequently used:

Leads:

A ‘Lead’ is a potential customer or prospect. Generating a lead is the first step in the sales process. In Odoo a lead can be automatically created when a potential customer sends an email to a designated email address.

  • The ‘Leads’ functionality lets you create new leads and associate them with contacts, emails and potential services/ goods required.
  • You can add probability, expected revenue and reminders to each lead and update lead information at any time.
  • Once a lead is generated, the CRM can automatically assign it to a salesperson based on assignment rules or this can be done manually.

Opportunity

A lead is converted into an opportunity once it is qualified

Pipeline:

In your Odoo business management solution, this represents the deals being pursued with new or existing customers. Generally, there are three stages in the pipeline.

  • Contact customer
  • Send quotation
  • Won/Lost

This way your sales team knows what exactly they need to do in each stage of the pipeline, working on it continuously until the deal is won. The process can be customised specifically to your requirements.
